MAHULENA

MAHULENA

Festulolium

Festulolium

Robust, high yielding and persistent

Mahulena
Mahulena is a festulolium dressed like a tall fescue. A top-yielding variety combined with excellent persistency, but better feeding quality.

Genome
As part of the genome is originating from Lolium, it has improved forage quality compared to pure tall fescue.

Stems in regrowth / aftermath heading
The almost total absence of stems in regrowth, is another parameter favorable for forage/feeding quality (see chart).

Robust
Mahulena is more robust than most other varieties used on grassland.

Withstands drought and water logging
Whether it is water logged soils in the winter or strong summer drought, Mahulena withstands both!

  • Tall fescue type with early heading
  • Very high yield capacity
  • Very persistent
  • Robust
