Festulolium

HYKOR = Yield and Persistency!

Tall Fescue Type
Main traits for HYKOR is high yield potential, persistence, drought resistance and tolerance to high level of subsoil water. HYKOR can be used as substitute for meadow fescue with markedly higher yield as result. Compared to meadow fescue and tall fescue, festulolium varieties like HYKOR have better feeding value – measured by higher content of sugar and energy.

Quality and Persistency
HYKOR is suitable for silage mixtures together with perennial ryegrass, hybrid ryegrass and lucerne or red clover. Festulolium increases the persistency of the mixture due to the deeper root system and tolerance to dry conditions.

  • Tall fescue type
  • HYKOR has early spring growth and early ear emergence
  • It combines quality and persistency
  • Increases the summer yield
