Festulolium

Yield and Persistency

Tall Fescue Type of Festulolium

Main traits for FELINA is high yield potential, persistence, drought resistance and tolerance to high level of subsoil water.

FELINA can be used as substitute for meadow fescue with higher yield as result.

Compared to meadow fescue and tall fescue, these festulolium varieties have better feeding value - measured by higher content of sugar and energy.

FELINA has a good early spring growth as well as a high production late summer.

Festulolium setting new standards

FELINA is setting new standards for the geographical extension of the species.

In trials in Finland, FELINA has shown higher yield than meadow fescue and acceptable winterhardiness.

  • Tall fescue type
  • Very early spring growth and early heading
  • Very high yield
  • Increases midsummer production
