ROKALI

ROKALI

Trifolium incarnatum

Crimson clover

Very quick development after sowing

High DM yield in spring for forage

ROKALI is an early high yielding variety of crimson clover. ROKALI develops very quickly after sowing compared to the widely used varieties.

Suitable for cover crop and forage mixtures

ROKALI is very suitable for cover crop mixtures and the faster establishment makes this variety competitive in mixtures and covers the ground faster.
With 8% higher DM yield compared to the widely used variety Kardinal, you get higher spring forage production with an increased protein content.

Nitrogen fixation for protein in forage or green manure

ROKALI can be used as part a cover crop species and in green manure mixtures as a nitrogen fixing part. It is an important part of overwintering mixtures with Italian ryegrass and winter vetch for forage use in spring, increasing the protein content of the produced forage.

  • Very fast establisment and cover
  • Use as cover crop or forage species
  • Better overvintering than most other annual clovers
  • N fixation for the plant and the companion species
