At Aalborg Portland Stadium, turf manager John Larsen looks forward to a dense sward and faster playing style with the newly installed DLF turf
A 5 week transformation ended this week, as polyethene thread was sown into the sod sward
The lenght of the thread equates to a trip halfway around the world. Performance expectations for the turf are high for the coming season.
The fortunate first who get to test out the turf are the Danish under-21 men's national team, when they face off with the Ukrainian team in Aalborg on September 4th.
Helle Østerhaab Mortensen and John Larsen are responsible for the care of the beautiful 3F Superliga turf in Aalborg.
