Growth habit

Angus 1 is a very erect type with a good lodging tolerance for fast and easy conservation.

Early heading

Angus 1 is amongst the earliest heading annual ryegrass varieties. This can benefit for both earlier forage production and for rapid soil stabilization.

High rust resistance

Angus 1 is one of the highest ranking varieties for rust resistance. An important characteristic for areas where rust can harm establishment or forage quality.
