Very productive
Polim is a late tatraploid variety of perennail ryegrass and it has shown very high yield under conservation as well as simulated grazing management.
Quality is good too
As a tetraploid, Polim produces forage with the very best quality. The variety is eaten very willingly by grazing animals and when used for conservation, Polim can bring a huge amount of high quality silage.
Resistant to crown rust
Polim has been in a huge number of trials under different climatic conditions. All results have shown, that Polim has very low succeptibility to crown rust.
Broad adaptation
Polim is currently beeing used for high quality mixtures in Benelux, UK, France, Germany and Denmark
