A “classic” diploid

INDICUS 1 is a “classic” diploid variety with efficient yield.

The highest yield is carried at the first cut, the silage cut, which is approved by the BSA classification with grade 8. This is the highest grade in maturity group 6. (see chart below).

INDICUS 1 is convincing as well with further agro-ecological qualities: A lot of herbage, even after second growth, provides highest quality which is shown in the feed quality of silage or in the pasture growth.

INDICUS 1 has proved high endurance and winter hardiness after the moor test in the north of Germany and has been given an “M” for moor recommendation.
