The grasses chosen for the new Turfline Soft mixtures have all been selected for softness and density. Red fescue, such as chewings fescue and strong creeping red fescue, is well known for very high density and extremely fine leaves - warm and nice to touch. Added to this is some creeping bent which is the ultimate soft leaved specie with the nicest green colour.

No soft grass during summer without winter hardiness

Soft winter hardiness has also been a crucial point in the composition of Turfline. After spending time and money on establishing your dream lawn you expect it to last some years. The added red fescue, hard fescue and creeping bent belong to some of the most winter hardy species.

Establishment is the key-point

The finest grasses are not the fastest establishing grasses. To nurse these soft and fine leaved grasses, Turfline Soft perennial ryegrass has been added. The grass has fast establishment and protects the slower grasses from weed invasion. Over the years the perennial ryegrass will disappear and be taken over by the very fine grasses.
