Robust type

FELIX is of the rubra rubra type with long and strong rhizomes. By forming long rhizomes, FELIX is able to close holes in the grass sward quickly and faster than the other two types of red fescue. The establishment is at the same time fast.

High stress tolerance

To a high extend FELIX tolerates the more extreme summer temperatures and other stress factors. It has been successfully tested in various climates in the UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Lithuania and Czech Republic.

The use of FELIX

FELIX is used as an all round variety in mixtures for many purposes. Especially mixtures for more extensive use can benefit of the high adaptability and drought and heat tolerance of the variety.
