Quality in general appearance
Amarone forms a very beautiful turf with a fine general aspect and a relatively dark green colour. The density is at the top among the trichophylla varieties.
Quality in disease tolerance
Amarone has very good tolerance to Fusarium. This gives the variety a very fine winthercolour and a good spring growth. The tolerance against Corticium is also fine.
Quality in use
Together these excellent growing aspects means, that Amarone is a very good choice for lawns where the genreal aspect is important as well as the ability to withstand unfavourable conditions like drought and hard winters.
