General appearance
COBRA NOVA Creeping Bentgrass is an exceptionally dense growing variety with good resistance to major turfgrass diseases, including brown spot and dollar spot. These traits, along with its attractive colour and early spring green-up provide golf courses with superior greens COBRA NOVA maintains its excellent performance even under high traffic conditions - an advantage appreciated by both players and greenkeepers.
COBRA NOVA was the best performing variety at mowing heights of 9/64” and 5/32” in the 2004-2007 NTEP trials in the USA.
Usage
COBRA NOVA has been developed exclusively for golf course greens, tees and fairways; croquet and tennis courts, and bowling tops. COBRA NOVA is also used as a minor component in winter overseed mixtures containing improved Poa trivialis.
