Through many goal-oriented research projects we have built up a very detailed knowledge on the genetic basis underlying agronomic and quality related traits in grasses. Based on this knowledge platform we develop tailor-made grass varieties with improved traits either through genetic engineering or though our advanced marker-based breeding programmes. We hold a solid network of scientists and collaborative partners and we actively participate in several Danish and European research and development projects.
