Tall Fescue
Tall fescue is a relatively new species for lawns in Europe. The species occurs in the wild in dry localities such as salt meadows and it therefore develops a fantastically good and deep root system. This means that tall fescue is, without comparison, the most drought-resistant species we have for lawns. Apart from high drought resistance, the newest varieties also possess such desirable properties as fine leaves and high shoot density.
