Ideal partner for mixtures due to erect growth

Very Early Spring Growth

NAPOLEON starts growth very early compared to similar types. This early start leads to a very high yield as seen below in the table.

High Disease Resistance

NAPOLEON has proved a high resistance to rust and Mildew in trials in Europe and even in South of America.

Good Winterhardiness

NAPOLEON has been listed in several countries proving that the variety also has very good winterhardiness.

Excellent for Cut and Grazing

NAPOLEON is an excellent variety for cut, however, also well suited for grazing purposes. As a tetraploid variety with an erect growth, it is a good partner for clovers and other mixture partners. The results from NIAB in the UK show the flexibility in the use of NAPOLEON.
