DLF AmbA is Danish seed growers’ preferred seed company. With 5,400 member growers, we are an organisation which looks after Danish seed growers’ general interests.
Our goal for a 100 years has been to ensure an attractive seed production for our growers and the best possible sales for Danish seed growers. The DLF Group is now the world’s biggest clover and grass seed company within temperate zone species, with major activities within research and development, production and sale of clover and grass seeds, and subsidiaries in all major seed-producing and consuming parts of the world.
It is pivotal for our activities that seed production continues to be competitive relative to other alternatives, especially wheat, and that the growing of clover and grass seeds for the DLF Group is more profitable than growing for other Danish seed firms. We have always achieved this goal, and we intend to continue to be the best-paying clover and grass seed firm in Denmark.
DLF AmbA is the seed growers’ own company, with indisputable roots in agriculture. DLF AmbA’s board members, for example, are thus all seed growers themselves, and they therefore know the factors which affect a seed grower. This knowledge, combined with a competitive growing, production and sales organisation and a strong breeding programme, mean that we are able to look after both the company’s and the growers’ interests in the best possible way in both the short term and the long term.
